NeuroFit

The NeuroFit program is a once weekly class designed to help those with neurological conditions increase their fitness and improve quality of life. The class is centered around Parkinson’s Disease, but is also helpful for other conditions, such as MS or brain traumas that have led to some physical impairment. NeuroFit is designed for those who still have relatively normal physical and mental function and who don’t require assistive equipment such as walkers or wheelchairs. (For example, this class would not be suited for Parkinson’s disease stages 4-5).
 
This program is offered every Monday from 3:00 – 4:00PM and consists of a strength training portion and a conditioning/cardio portion. Tasks focused on include improving balance, coordination, and strength that can translate over into improving your day-to-day life. 
 
To join the class, you must first meet with the instructor for a consultation to make sure you are a good fit for the program. The class is free to attend regardless of if have a membership.
