ZeSa Classes
Family Wellness is now the first fitness facility in North Dakota to offer ZeSa Classes!
ZeSa is a patented and progressive Instability Balance Training System for general fitness, athletic training, injury prevention and recovery, and brain cognitive benefits. ZeSa provides a progressive training system that combines technologies of instability plus 360° rotation for multi-planar training to improve balance, engage core musculature, maximize muscle recruitment, and stabilize joints by firing all muscle layers simultaneously.
ZeSa classes are done barefoot to provide sensory feedback from your feet throughout your neuromuscular system for benefits including injury prevention, proprioception, skeleton alignment, and muscle synchronization. Regular socks cannot be used but sticky socks are allowed.
No prior experience using ZeSa’s devices is necessary, all classes are suitable for ALL fitness levels and abilities. Equipment options and modifications are offered to provide all class participants with a great experience.
Due to limited equipment, registration is required to attend classes. To register, go to the Group Fitness Schedule and find the class you want to register for. Click on Sign Up. If you do not have a Group Fitness Schedule account, you may need to create one.

ZeSa Class Descriptions:
- ZeSa Strength & Power: This class provides all the benefits of dynamic instability balance training (also known as neuromuscular training) with your own bodyweight, free weights, and strength movements for a functional full-body workout. This is a low to no impact class that will challenge and improve your balance and flexibility, while also building strength, power, and endurance with a heavy emphasis on core engagement.
- ZeSa HIIT: This class provides all the benefits of a high interval intensity training workout with the added the benefits of instability balance training (also known as neuromuscular training). HIIT is a training strategy that alternates short, intense burses of exercise with brief periods of rest for maximum caloric burn. This isn’t your ordinary HIIT class, however, as it incorporates utilizing ZeSa’s Patented Activator Training Platforms® into many of the moves, which will stimulate your entire neuromuscular system through three planes of movement. The result is a far more dynamic and rapid development of strength, agility and balance, with a heavy emphasis on core engagement.
- ZeSa Yoga: Whether you’re a novice or advanced yogi, you’ll love this full body yoga flow class. ZeSa Yoga incorporates ZeSa’s Patented Activator Training Platforms® with yoga moves to develop higher levels of focus, strength, flexibility and endurance, with an emphasis on improving your balance and core strength. You’ll continue to develop an understanding and appreciation of the integration of asana, pranayama breathing, and meditation. Modifications will be introduced for complex poses so that beginners can work comfortably at their own level. *ZeSa Yoga is seasonally offered in the Fall, Winter, & Spring only for 8-week sessions*
